National permethrin toxicity campaign

The AVA has launched a campaign to address concerns raised by members about the number of permethrin toxicity cases in cats being treated. With the arrival of flea and tick season, we need the help of all vets in small animal practice to make a difference. Read more.

 

New code of practice for prescribing antimicrobial agents

A new appendix has been added to the Guidelines for Prescribing, Authorising and Dispensing Veterinary Medicines. It codifies best practice in prescribing and using products containing antimicrobial agents. To view the appendix, click here.
